A story behind every suit… When this fabric first came into my hands, I had so many ideas for creating something beautiful with it. Not one, not two, but so many different patterns came to my mind. I kept thinking about how I could create an outfit that would suit this fabric perfectly, while also making sure the beauty of the fabric stayed the main focus.
I finally created this pattern with one thing in mind ,it should be something that looks beautiful on everyone, without making the design too complicated or taking away from the fabric.The colour is also something I really love. It’s not too bright and not too pastel either …somewhere beautifully in between.
For the dupatta, I added a beautiful scalloped edge, and paired it with plain Shantoon pants to keep the look balanced. The centre gathers are detailed with delicate thread work, while the yoke is designed with beautiful multicoloured running stitches, giving it that little extra touch.I’ve also added a Chanderi tissue border in a contrasting shade along the neckline, sleeve borders and hemline. And to finish the sleeves, there’s a pretty lace detailing that brings everything together.
